Natima Imanaya

My best commission work to date. A long time aquantince of mine has been working an Evangelion fanfiction for a while now which introduces a new character, Natima Imanaya, a 3rd generation clone of the original Rei series. She's been modified though to have more personality than Rei and is a bit more grown up looking and she enjoys wearing her hair long. I did the sketch on regular old printer paper (two 8 1/2" x 11" sheets taped together) then inked it with tech pens and scanned each sheet into the system. I then linked the two into one file and lined up the sheets and started coloring. The ground is composed of three elements. The sky I generated using Terragen for Windows XP. I then took a photo of a real beach and oil painted over it digitally. I then designed the sand using Photoshop 7.0 and put it all together into the final product. I am still annoyed that I screwed up her right leg but oh well. Live and learn. The customer liked it all the same.
